A few months back, comic artist John Tyler Christopher announced a new exclusive “negative space” variant set for Star Wars #41. At the time of the the initial private pre-sale last fall, John announced that one of the variants would be Darth Maul while keeping the other a secret. The private pre-sale was exclusive to his previous customers.

Then last week, after months of waiting, he finally announced the “secret” variant would be none the nightsister/jedi/sith/bounty hunter Asajj Ventress and shared the cover art.
It bangs. I love both variants. Which it’s good that I do because I pre-ordered this all the way back in October!
And they arrived today! So if you pre-ordered in the initial private sale window you should expect a package on your front porch soon.
If you didn’t, and you wish you did, don’t stress because you still have time to buy. Here are the details:
Private Sale (only for previous customers)
- PRIVATE SALE STARTS:Â Tuesday, JANUARY 23rd at 6pm (et)Â
- PRIVATE SALE ENDS:Â Wednesday, JANUARY 24th at 6pm (et), or until we are sold out of PRIVATE STOCK.Â
- Each book has a limit of one per customer. You can buy more in the public sale if you want to.
