Star Wars: Inquisitors Comic Mini-Series Announced by Marvel Comics

Hello there! Marvel Comics announced today that the Empire’s favorite band of misfits is getting their own comic mini-series! Star Wars: Inquisitors will be written by Rodney Barnes (The Mandalorian) and illustrated by Ramon Rosanas and will debut on July 3rd 2024!

The series will be centered around the Grand Inquisitor and his cronies hunting a new Jedi and order 66 survivor, Tensu Run. A fitting name given the context of the series.

Here’s a look at the first few covers. Cover A is by Nick Bradshaw and there are variants from Alex Maleev and Walter Simonson. There will likely be at least two other variants. Maybe more.

No word just yet on how long the mini-series will run but based on the most recent mini-series, Star Wars: Mace Windu, Star Wars: Thrawn Alliances, and Star Wars: Jango Fett, I’d guess that it will be 4-issues long.

“It’s such an honor to be writing the very first Inquisitors solo story!” Barnes tells StarWars.com. “I love this time period of Star Wars lore because it’s the one I grew up on — when Darth Vader and the Empire were imposing their will on the entire galaxy. Plus, I got to create an all-new legendary Jedi with Tensu Run! Truly the best of times!”

I’ll update you with more details when I know them.

For life and life!
