Star Wars The Mandalorian Season 2 #1 Getting A 2nd Print Variant

Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2 #1 adapted from the first episode of season 2 by Rodney Barnes and Georges Jeanty came out last week with more exclusives than hype.

This is to be expected. We all know the story. We know who’s in it. We know what the first appearances are ahead of time. If you wanted the first appearance of Cobb Vanth in a comic you likely pre-ordered it.

But that’s not stopping Marvel comics from doing a 2nd printing of the book. The 2nd print comes out on August 16, 2023 with a final order cutoff of Monday July 17, 2023.

UPDATED: See All Ratio Variants Currently Listed on TFAW

The 2nd print is just a tweak to teh original cover A by David Nakayama. The logo switches from orange to red. Here’s a look:

There is also a 2nd print 1:25 retailer incentive ration variant. It’s a black and white version of the first print E.M. Gist variant. I dig it.

The 2nd printing will be out on July 19th with final orders for retailers due on June 19th.

No pre-orders available yet but I’ll be sure to let you know here, on Instagram, or on Twitter the moment it drops.

I’ll also update the Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2 Marvel Comics Variant Checklist with links when they are read. Hit the image below to check that out.

That’s all for now!

This is the way.

My copy of the 2nd printing of Mando #1 is misprinted. The first page should actually be page 14 or so. It’s the page when Mando walks into the bar and meets Cobb Vanth. Have you heard about this happening?
