Star Wars #42 by Charles Soule and Steven Cummings – The Sith and the Skywalker! This issue will get us back to the Luke Skywalker/Kyber Crystal/Sith arc now that Dark Droids has wrapped. I posted the 5-page preview of Star Wars #42 the other day and it’s clear we’re about to get a lot more details about this mysterious Sith who’s memories are embedded in the Kyber crystal Luke got from Doctor Cuata in Star Wars #35.
This is one of my favorite storylines and this issue has a ton of key potential if we get a deep dive into who this Sith is and what significance he holds. And yes, the Sith is male. It was confirmed by Steven Cummings to one of my friends in the Department of Comics discord server.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian by Rodney Barnes and Steven Cummings This is the final issue of the season 2 comic book adaptation of Star Wars: The Mandalorian by Marvel comics. That means that this comic will adapt the popular finale of season two of the Mandalorian. New Republic Luke! Should be a good time to see how Steven Cummings depicts Luke wrecking a whole squad of Dark Troopers. Star Wars Comic Book FOC Deadlines
For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, the best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 1/8/24 this week.
