This, the final issue of the 4-part Star Wars: The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight mini-series that sets up Phase III of the High Republic, will be villain focused as Marchion Ro and his Nihil Ministers make their plans behind the occlusion zone.
In the preview we see a storyline from George Mann’s Star Wars: The High Republic?- Eye of Darkness novel play out. Marchion Ro held up with the Nihil inside of the occlusion zone celebrating his victory over the Republic. But his Minister of Information, Ghirra Starros, former Senator in the Republic and ancestor to Sana Starros, is getting restless. She’s worried he has no plan and is just biding time. My best guess for this issue is that we’ll get Marchion’s end game laid out for us. What he truly wants. And then the rest of Phase III will show us how everything all plays out.
I’m hoping for some flashbacks and a first appearance of Marchion’s ancestor, Marda Ro. Should also be the first appearance of Boolan, an Ithorian who serves as the Minister of Advancement under Ro. He’s basically a twisted mad scientist type character who created the Children of the Storm.
