Hello there and welcome to the weekly new Star Wars comics post where I break down all-new comics & books coming out next week, October 10th-11th, as well as all Star Wars comics with a final order cutoff next Monday, October 9th!

Star Wars: Dark Droids #3 comes out this week and we get a continuation of Darth Vader #39 with the Dark Lord of the Sith fighting off more scourge-infected droids to avoid being infected himself. It should be a fun issue because Soule has been hyping it up on Twitter.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2 #5 by Rodney Barnes. This issue is the adaptation of Ahsoka’s first appearance in live-action. And the first time she meets Din and Grogu. It’s also Morgan Elsbeth’s first appearance. Any issue with Ahsoka in it is going to garner a lot of attention.
This one is no exception as there are a TON of exclusive variants for it. My personal favorites are the Peach Momoko exclusives from 616 Comics. The Adi Granov cover from Trinity is pretty amazing too.
Star Wars Ultimate Cookbook by Insight Editions – I got a review copy of this and it’s pretty cool. Tons of recipes. Hoping to give a few of them a shot over the coming weeks.
Star Wars High Republic Jedi Brave in Every Way. This is a children’s book by Charles Soule and his daughter Rosemary. Pretty cool that they got to do this together. Also, the 3 Jedi younglings on the cover (with Yoda and Burry) appeared in this week’s High Republic Shadows of Starlight #1.

Star Wars Comic Book FOC Deadlines
For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, the best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 10/9/23 this week.
