What’s up EveryWooky! It’s been a wild week. We got Han Solo and Chewbacca #2 and Doctor Aphra #20 yesterday for new comic book day. And you may have noticed that we’ve gotten a new Mandalorian #1 store exclusive almost every day the last week. I wouldn’t be surprised if we still have a dozen or so more Mandalorian covers still on the way.
While exclusives are fun and all let’s turn our attention to open covers that have to be ordered this week by our favorite shops. Including open covers of The Mandalorian #1.
Star Wars Comic And Book FOC Deadlines May 23, 2022
For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 5/23/22 this week.
This week’s FOC is a pretty big one for Star Wars fans. Not only do we have the cutoff for the open covers of The Mandalorian #1 but we also get Darth Vader #24, Star Wars Crimson Reign #5, Titan Comics Mandalorian Graphic Novels (season 1 & 2), The War of The Bounty Hunters Omnibus, AND Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The Clone Wars Volume 4.

In previous posts (May 14 and earlier) you listed the Mandalorian #1 TV variant as the 1:10. I noticed that you also dropped the 1:10 ratio from Mandalorian #2 concept art variant. Did the publisher change the covers? I’m not trying to criticize, tracking this many covers must be super complex… I’m just trying to understand the process. Thank you for all that you do!
