Star Wars: Darth Maul – Black, White, and Red #1 (of 4) comes out on April 24th, 2024.
This is the second Star Wars related addition to the long running Black, White, & Red/Blood series from Marvel Comics. Star Wars: Darth Vader – Black, White, & Red kicked off on April 26 last year and created quite a buzz with 23 different variants (16 were store exclusives) announced for the first issue alone.

I don’t anticipate nearly as many exclusives for this year’s BWR entry, but this weekend, Unknown Comic Books, announced an exclusive variant for Star Wars: Darth Maul – Black, White, & Red #1 by long time comic artist Felipe Massafera!
There will be a trade dress variant limited to 3,000 and a virgin variant limited to 1,000. The pre-sale kicks off on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024.
At the moment the only store confirmed to have it is Unknown Comic Books. But I would expect 616 Comics to have it as well since they typically share exclusive variants.
One other thing… you may or may not know that I’m in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign that includes some amazing silver age style Star Wars comic book art prints from fan artist @dvglzv. Recently, I framed that art for my own house.
The hope is to use the money to rebuild this website to make it more modern looking and provide a better user experience for all of the amazing people who take the time out of their day to read the words that I write about our silly hobby.
