Welcome! Today I want to take a look at everything Star Wars related that is set to release next week, February 7th, 2024. As well as all Star Wars comics with a final order cutoff next Monday, February 5th!
I also want to mention that my family and I have been sick as dogs the last few days and therefore I’ve posted way less. It’s some dumb stomach bug that’s?going around and we can’t seem to shake it.
It’s not serious and I’m only mentioning it because I’m bummed I haven’t been posting more. Here’s to a better week next week.

Star Wars: Mace Windu #1 by Marc Bernardin and Georges Jeanty – The first of four issues in this mini-series will introduce a new character named, Azita Cruuz. She’s a smuggler character who appears to become reluctant partners with Mace Windu during this story. From a comic value standpoint it can be tough to speculate on characters from widely fleshed out eras of Star Wars. While Azita will undoubtedly be important to this story is it likely that she shows up in future media? Who knows? Mace Windu does have an OGN and full novel coming out later this year. Maybe she’s in those as well.
The cover I like the best is the 1:25 variant by Tuarin Clarke. Not only is Azita Cruuz on the cover, it will less expensive out of the gates that the virgin 1:100 Davi Go variant.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi #5 by Jody Houser and Salvador Larocca – This is the penultimate issue of the Marvel comics adaptation of the Kenobi Disney+ tv show. This is the episode where Reva faces off against Vader and he makes her look like child. Toying with her before leaving her with a gut wound in the dirt.

For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, the best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 2/5/24 this week.
