Starwars.com released their preview of next week’s Star Wars Darth Vader 27 this morning and we see Darth Vader continue show Crimson Dawn what happens when who mess with the Chosen One.

While the preview is fun the the covers are what I’m focused on. First off, the Cover A by Rahzzah is absolutely beautiful. He one of the best in the business in my opinion.

Then on cover B by Giuseppe Camuncoli you get the first cover appearances of Anakin’s childhood friends, Kitster and Wald.

And finally the Chris Sprouse Choose Your Destiny Variant has the first canon appearance of Darth Bane. It’s not the same as his first full appearance (that is Star Wars: Jedi Vs. Sith #1) but it’s still pretty damn badass.

Check out the preview below! If you haven’t already grabbed a pre-order for Star Wars Darth Vader #27 grab one at TFAW:

The alliance between Darth Vader and Sabé has always seemed destined for disaster. After all, how long can the Dark Lord of the Sith and the idealistic handmaiden of Padm? Amidala find common ground?

So as Vader and Sabé enter the final battle against a corrupt Imperial governor, something’s going to break. Will it be Vader’s cold resolve or Sabé’s true heart? And how long until Ochi of Bestoon finally makes his move?
