Four New Star Wars High Republic #1 Exclusives Announced

by GrandAdmiralFrik

So late last week TFAW announced that they’re doing a Star Wars High Republic #1 Exclusive with cover artist Dan Panosian and since then, 4 more stores have announced their own variants.

I’ll be keeping an eye on every new variant, comic, and book for the entirety of Phase of of The High Republic on the High Republic Phase II checklist here.

One thing they all have in common is that they all feature Matthea Cathley, a Twilek Padawan who’s master is the dude on the open order covers, Vildar Mac.

This tells me that she’s likely the main character of the 2022 Marvel Star Wars High Republic comic run. The same thing happened for the Phase I Marvel High Republic comics.

Cover A featured Avar Kriss, Keeve Trennis, and Sskeer but the retailer exclusive variants were all about Keeve who ended up being the main character of the run.
