Yesterday, we brought you official product images and information about the new “Fan Favorite” Star Wars Black Series 6 inch figures from Hasbro depicting Legends era comic books characters. Pre-orders are now live at major online retailers! Each figure retails for $24.99 and is scheduled to be released June 2021.
The wave includes Jaxxon who first appeared in Star Wars #8 (vol. 1), Darth Maul, the shirtless Sith Apprentice from Ron Marz’ great Darth Maul mini series, Luke Skywalker from Mike Baron’s comic adaptation of the Thrawn Trilogy (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and the Last Command), and “Carnor Jax” who first appeared in the digital web comic Crimson Empire #0, and first appears in a print comic in Crimson Empire #1.

Editorial/Rant:
What’s strange to me is that this outfit doesn’t particularly resemble Carnor Jax. When Jax ascends to rule the Empire he dons a suit of armor that is more dominated by black. Also that fabulous Dave Dorman illustration on the inside of the figure case is an image of Kir Kanos (the Crimson Empire protagonist to Carnor Jax’s antagonist). I don’t think Hasbro did their research on this one. Decide for yourself:
