If your nostalgic leanings outweigh your desire for screen accurate toys, Amazon and Hasbro may just have the toys for you! As a part of the January 29, 2021 Fan First Friday, Hasbro and IGN have revealed the Amazon Exclusive “Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary” 6 inch Black Series figures. The line up features Obi Wan, Greedo, and a Jawa, all in vintage Kenner-style packaging and complete with Kenner deco. For example, check out Obi Wan’s vinyl cloak! Obi Wan is the first “Kenner Deco” figure with a human face and Hasbro decided to keep the photo-realistic face-printing. However, the lightsaber is opaque as an homage to Kenner.
These figures are currently priced at $19.99 each and ship out May 1, 2021. Just in time for Star Wars Day, May 4! May the Force Be With You!
