In case you haven’t noticed by the deluge of Gundam x Hello Kitty merchandise coming out, the two franchises are sharing an anniversary this year. It’s Gundam’s 40th Anniversary and Hello Kitty’s 45th Anniversary!
It’s resulted in great mash ups like this mini figure:
Anyway, Bandai have announced two Gundam x Hello Kitty Chogokin figures: one RX-78-2 and one Zaku II! The head cockpits on each open to allow you to place the mini figure pilot inside and the figures each feature a button to change the mobile suit’s eyes between three different options!
Pre-orders are scheduled to start today and the Japanese retail price is right around $60. We’ll keep you updated with stateside pre-order info!
