Star Wars: Sana Starros by Justina Ireland and Pere Perez comes out next week and is the final issue of the 5-part mini-series introducing fans to Sana’s family.

This story is about two things:
- The inter-family drama and dynamics of the Starros Clan
- And a plot to retrieve stolen research from Starros ancestor, Avon Starros, from the High Republic era.
The 5 page preview does’t reveal a whole lot aside from the return of Lavitra, a Pantoran crime syndicate leader, and the inclusion of fan-favorite and resident goofball, Hondo Ohnaka!
I’ve enjoyed the writing on this series very much. It’s been a fun change of pace from the larger runs and provides some much needed backstory for a massive Star Wars comics character, Sana Starros. A character that I expect to make the jump to screen alongside Doctor Aphra when (not if imo) Lucasfilm finds the right spot in the timeline.
