Quick update for anyone who is collecting the Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories Annual – Jaxxon 2023 variants – pre-sales are live on Dark Horse Direct. Buyer beware though, shipping is usually silly expensive from dark Horse Direct.
This variant will be limited to 1500. With 500 being sold online and the remaining 1,000 being sold at Rose City Comic Con.
If you’re unfamiliar with this comic it’s a convention exclusive COMIC. Meaning comic shops will not be able to order them and sell at cover price. Instead its being sold in batches of 1500-2000 per variant online at Dark Horse Direct and at conventions.
Earlier this year Dark Horse released a color variant by Mike Mignola at Star Wars Celebration 2023 and a B&W version at San Diego Comic Con. You can see the rest of the variants, including the unreleased Joelle Jones cover, on the link below.

This issue isn’t a big key or anything but I could see it being pretty hard to find in a few years since they have no open order options for local comic shops.
