Hola and good day! In this post, I’ll take a look at everything you should expect to see released next week on March 13th as well as every Star Wars comic or book with a final order cutoff deadline this upcoming Monday, March 11th.
*Quick Kickstarter Update*
Before we get into the comics I wanted to give a quick update on the Kickstarter campaign I launched last week. We’re currently sitting at $2,825! That’s 565% of my initial goal of $500. The next stretch goal is unlocked at $3,420.69 – less than $600 away!

Star Wars: Darth Vader #44 by Greg Pak, Adam Gorham, and Paul Fry – This issue is going to give us more background on Vader’s new cyborg squad, the MAR Corps. Their first full appearance is in Star Wars: Darth Vader #44 but the cover A of issue #44 is their first cover appearance. Just FYI if you collect first covers. I’m excited to see what Greg Pak is cooking but I really need to go back and read the last few issues to refresh myself on everything that is happening.

Star Wars: Mace Windu #2 by Marc Bernardin and Georges Jeanty – This is issue #2 in the 4 =-part Star Wars: Mace Windu mini-series that kicked off next Month. I don’t know a whole lot about what to expect. In the first issue, we were introduced to the situation and the two main protagonists. Mace Windu is tracking smuggler Azita Cruuz to acquire the formula of Coaxium Ultra, a new and more effective fuel source before the Separatists or a crime syndicate get their hands on it.
The best cover in my opinion is cover A by Mateus Manhanini. Giving off Dune vibes with Mace riding that worm. That didn’t sound right… but it’s what is happening.
Star Wars Insider #224 by Titan Comics – Includes interviews and content about Young Jedi Adventures, Max Rebo, and Jabba the Hutt.

Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures #4 Phase III by Daniel Jose Older and Elisa Romboli – I did a write up a few days back about the preview of this issue. There are going to be at least 5-6 new characters as the Jedi and friends plan a rescue mission inside the Occlusion Zone. First appearance collectors shouldn’t skip this one. Excited to see this story impact the larger storyline now that the gang is getting back together. Here’s the breakdown of the first appearances.
Star Wars Toys Coming In March 2024 – It feels like there are an abnormal amount of Star Wars toys, LEGO, statues, pops, etc. coming out this Month. Entertainment Earth shows 302 items set to release in March. I don’t follow that nearly as closely as I do comic books but that feels like a lot. You can check them all out here on Entertainment Earth.

Star Wars Comic Book FOC Deadlines
For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, the best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 3/11/24 this week.
