Marvel Comics is kicking off their 6-part comic adaptation of the Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney Plus limited series in September 2023. Like their other adaptations, this will be an episode-by-episode recreation in comic form. Each issue will adapt one full episode.

Like most adaptations, the purpose of these series is typically for collectors to get first appearances of new characters that appear in the shows/movies. This one is no different.
While not quite as heavy on big name first appearances as the Mandalorian adaptations, there are still some big names getting their comic debut in this series.
Reva Savander, Tala Durith, Ned-B (my guy!), Haja, Roken, among others, will get their first appearances in this series. Aside from that we’ll be getting illustrated versions of iconic moments of Obi-Wan encountering Darth Vader for the first time since he took down Anakin via the high ground on Mustafar.
