Consider this reading order and variant checklist post your headquarters for the upcoming Marvel comics crossover event, Star Wars: Dark Droids.
Star Wars: Dark Droids, described as a “horror fueled epic”, is a limited series by Charles Soule (Darth Vader Vol 2, High Republic The Blade, Light of the Jedi) officially kicks off in August 2023.
Aside from the titled, Star Wars: Dark Droids, comics this series will also in include one-shot comics and will have crossover issues with the Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, Star Wars: Bounty Hunters, Star Wars: Darth Vader, main Star Wars (also by Charles Soule) runs.
In other words, it will be structured similarly to Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters from 2021.
So what’s Star Wars: Dark Droids all about? Here’s the description from Starwars.com, “In Dark Droids, a mysterious new threat called the Scourge corrupts droids, cyborgs, and everything in-between, spreading chaos throughout the galaxy. Ajax Sigma, who first appeared in last year’s Star Wars: Revelations #1, will play a role in the saga — though his true intentions remain unknown.”
