Hello there! Star Wars: Darth Vader – Black, White, & Red #1 officially went on sale yesterday April 26, 2023, and late last night Marvel has already announced a 2nd printing that will be in stores on June 07, 2023!
There will be two 2nd print variants; an open order variant by Peach Momoko and a 2nd print 1:25 virgin variant by Kaare Andrews.

There are no pre-order details at the moment but I will update everyone on Instagram and Twitter when they go live.

It will be interesting to see how well this does. There were a ton of exclusives for this comic and it doesn’t seem that hard to find the first prints. Unsure if the demand is there or if Marvel just wanted to get a 2nd print of that 1:25 out in the world. The first print open order variants are all pretty easy to get at or below cover price still.
As for the issue itself, there were first appearances but it’s hard to say how important they are. Anthology stories like this one pretty much always introduce new characters but they often die (see Vader Dark Visions) or are not really brought up again outside of their self contained anthology story.
To me, the issue was fun and unique but also kind of confusing. That being said I’m interested to see where they take it and if there is a big payoff in the next 3 issues.
Time will tell.
