Almost there…

Man, it has been one heck of a whirlwind couple months! As always, I want to start out by thanking everyone for sharing the love of my favorite Ewok, Wicket. It’s surreal to think that after all these years, the entire Kenner line is now COM-PLETE! On top of all of that, we have been working hard on processing all the books from the MEMBERSHIP BETA; which was HUGE!!! Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding as we’ve been juggling not only those but also working on getting new shipping and other procedures set up for 2023. It’s been BANANAS! A special shout out goes to Lori and Jen as they have been amazing dealing with all this!

Although this is the PUBLIC sale for the 2 books we sold during the MEMBERSHIP BETA, you can now purchase them individually, and grades are now available! There is still quite a bit to discuss, so let’s get too it!

Maximum Lukeattude…

The secret cover is the ultimate version of LUKE SKYWALKER! It wasn’t until I was an adult, that I noticed Luke actually wears two outfits in ROTJ, and what was more baffling, was that the Kenner figure from the film was of his outfit in Jaba’s Palace. Whenever I think of him as a Jedi, I don’t think of the version with the cloak and Jedi vest. I think of the sleek modern suit, with the brilliant white corner flipped over to represent his acceptance of the light side. Plus, it allowed me to have his lightsaber extend from his arm, which is how all lightsabers should be!

I’ve always wanted to do this version of him, and I’m super pumped to finally have had the chance!

International Orders…

The biggest issue we faced with Wicket was the sky-rocketing costs of international shipping. To get this out of the way, WE DO NOT DETERMINE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COSTS. We currently use a system called Shipping Easy, and they tell us how much shipping rates are. We have always charged whatever rate they tell us, plus S&H to cover material costs (boxes, envelopes, etc.).

With that said, I refuse to just accept these outrageous rates. I promise you, we are doing everything we can to figure out a better solution. We have been negotiating with 3 different companies to see if we can find something new. Although we are optimistic about some of the news we’ve been getting, it’s going to take some time to not only lock the rates in, but also implement them in the site and our work flow. We are confident that when we launch all the new stuff in 2023, we will have everything figured out.

But I wanted to figure something out NOW! So, for all international buyers who purchased both Wicket and MEMBERSHIP BETA Luke bundle, we are shipping them out together next week. We will be refunding you the difference in shipping from the 2 orders, and until notified, I am waiving all material costs (S&H) for all international orders.

PLUS, are considering a grade? If you are international and picked up the bundle, and choose to get any grades from this sale, I will also pay $10 of your shipping. You have been more than patient while we try and figure this out, and I want to try and help out if this is something you’d like to get.

You have no idea how much insanity and heartbreak I’ve felt over all this, and I hope this is a step in the right direction to show you all that I appreciate you, and want to do right by you!

Domestic Orders…

Don’t think we’ve forgotten about all my homies in the USA! Besides working on International orders, we are also discussing how to cut costs here as well. Although domestic hasn’t gotten hit as hard as International, we are trying our best to get your rates down as well. Fingers crossed!
