Many Warhammer 40k fans have been wondering how to get their hands on the “paint-a-figure” or “artist proof” blank Intercessor Primaris Space Marine. Well, today Amazon, Entertainment Earth and BBTS joined the league of retailers taking pre-orders and with it came the news that this figure will be a “chase” pack in with case lots.
What that means is that for each case of the first wave of McFarlane Toys 7 inch Warhammer 40k figures, there will be 1 DIY, paint-a-figure, artist proof chase. The case breakdown is as follows:
- 3x Ultramarines Primaris Assault Intercessor Space Marine
- 2x Necron Warrior
- 1x Space Marine Primaris Intercessor Artist Proof Chase (please note this is a paint-a-figure. No paint included) (subject to change)
Entertainment Earth has a case listing where you can get the chase figure, but you’ll need to buy a ton of other figures along with it. BBTS listed the regular Space Marine and DIY as a two-figure lot which is slightly more budget-friendly. Amazon is offering the DIY figure on its own.
- DIY Figure alone via Amazon ($19.99 w/ Prime shipping)
- Case via Entertainment Earth ($119.99)
- Two-figure lot via BBTS ($44.99)
For those who missed it, here are the previous single figure pre-order listings along with some two-packs:
- Amazon
- Entertainment Earth
