Previously, fans and collectors only had an out-of-focus digital rendering to base their pre-order on for the Scorpion and Sub-Zero figures that are kicking off wave 1 of McFarlane’s new 7″ figure line.
McFarlane have updated their solicitations with new promo images of the actual Scorpion 7″ figure. Check out the full gallery below.
The basic set up is what we’ve come to expect from McFarlane’s various lines of 7″ figures. You get a basic branded black stand and a few accessories along with the figure itself. With these new images, we get a look at the sculpt a little better and a look at what weapons Scorpion’s working with. Thankfully, his whip/chain made it into production because that was unclear from the digital mock-up above. It also looks like he’s kept most of his detail into production, if maybe a few changes have been made. His face mask looks more metallic gold than the original matte skeletal look of the digital image.
Both figures are retailing for about $19.99 depending on the retailer and can still be pre-ordered at these fine retailers for a delivery scheduled for this month (September 2019):
