Earlier this month Marvel Comics announced 2nd print variants for both Star Wars: Ahsoka #1 (first appearance of Shin Hati and Baylan Skoll) and Star Wars: Inquisitors #1 (first appearance of Tensu Run among others).
Over the weekend the latter appears to have been canceled. I saw @swsplashpagepod post about it on X and the page has been removed from the Penguin Random House comics website. It’s still listed on some shops though. So this is either incorrect news or the shops simply haven’t remove them them yet.
If it actually is canceled, I assume it’s due to a lack of interest. I’m both surprised and not at the same time. I’m surprised because you rarely see canceled Star Wars variants but at the same time I’m not sure a 2nd print was needed.
Since there are a handful of significant new characters introduced in the issue, Star Wars: Inquisitors #1 is a key issue in my opinion. But it’s hardly sold out anywhere at the moment. I think Marvel and Lucasfilm anticipated a bigger response to the book than they got and already had the 2nd printing planned in advance. But once they realized comic stores were not ordering it, they cut it.
Star Wars: Ahsoka #1 2nd Print Details
At the moment it appears that the Ahsoka #1 2nd print variants are still safe from cancelation. Here are all of the details:
On Sale Date: August 21, 2024
There will be two variants.
The first is an open order variant of the Ken Lashley cover from the first printing. The difference is that the first print had a thick foil cover and this one will not. It will use the same art but no foil.

The second variant will be a 1:25 2nd print TV variant based on the 1:25 first print TV variant.
