I somehow missed this “slave Leia” homage comic variant from Star Wars Day

Archie Comics Return of the Jedi Homage

by GrandAdmiralFrik

If you read this site very often, you’ve probably seen that my wife and I had our 4th child. He was born on April 22nd and had to spend a week in the NICU due to some fluid in his lungs.

No stress though, we’re home, he’s good, and all is well.

But over the last few weeks I’ve been distracted (to say the least) and somehow missed a May the 4th exclusive homage variant cover for Betty & Veronica: Friends Forever – Fairy Tales that illustrator Dan Parent and The Comic Corner put together for Star Wars day.

The art is of one of Betty or Veronica (I obviously don’t know much about this series :)) dressed up in the “Slave Leia” costume from Jabba’s barge in The Return of the Jedi.

There are two different variants.

  • A regular virgin variant that is limited to 250
  • A foil variant that is limited to 30

As far as I know these are only offered by The Comic Corner here.

It’s not a Star Wars story in the comic, but since the cover is Star Wars related I figured I’d share for the wooks out there that collect everything Star Wars or are into the Archie brand of comics.

Not really my thing but I know some people really dig this stuff.

That’s all for now.
