New Star Wars Comics and Books Coming Out Next Week
Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku – Insurgency Rising #4 – This issue takes us deeper into the brutal conflict on Jakku as Kes Dameron and his squad battle the last Imperial forces. The gritty art style underscores the desperation of both sides as the New Republic and the Empire clash for what might be the final time. Secret: Since these have been coming out every week, after issue #1, I decided to hold off and read them all at once. Can’t wait.

Star Wars Bestiary HC Vol 1 – Ever wanted a deep dive into the Star Wars galaxy’s most fascinating (and terrifying) creatures? This hefty hardcover is your guide to galactic fauna, featuring entries on everything from rancors to banthas. It’s part nature guide, part love letter to the creatures that populate the Star Wars universe, and packed with gorgeous artwork and lore.
Star Wars: Ahsoka #5 – Ahsoka Tano’s story continues, exploring her path after the Clone Wars and her struggle to stay out of the shadows as the Empire rises. But most importantly this is the return of Anakin Skywalker (and Rexy boy) in the world between worlds. Which was RAD AS HELL on screen in my opinion.

Star Wars Comic Book FOC Deadlines
For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, the best bet is to order it before FOC.
