Alright, Star Wars fans, buckle up, because Clone Force 99 is diving headfirst into their own comic series! Dark Horse Comics just announced Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents, a five-issue miniseries that’s set to drop on January 15, 2025.
Yep, that means more epic, chaotic, and probably explosive missions with your favorite batch of misfit clones—Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair, and Tech. I’ve missed Tech. Glad to see the fella back in action.
Written by Michael Moreci (who wrote many of the Star Wars Hyperspace Stories comics), Ghost Agents will throw the Batchers into the murky depths of the galaxy’s underworld.
Their mission? Hunt down a Separatist ghost agent who managed to pull off a crazy heist on Coruscant itself. You can already imagine the kind of shady characters they’ll have to deal with, and knowing these guys, there’ll be plenty of blaster fire and brawls along the way.
Moreci described the Bad Batch as “1980s action heroes dropped into the Star Wars universe,” and honestly, I couldn’t agree more. These guys have that gruff, take-no-prisoners attitude, and I can’t wait to see how it translates into this new adventure. The series promises all the high-octane action we love, but this time in a comic format, complete with art from Valeria “Lux” Favoccia on covers and a killer creative team behind the panels.

If you’ve been following the Bad Batch since their Clone Wars debut, you know these clones don’t play by the rules. This new mission sounds like it’ll test their skills (and maybe their patience with each other) in some of the galaxy’s sketchiest locales. Let’s hope their 100% success rate holds up when they’re up against a ghost agent!
Mark your calendars for January 15, and in the meantime, just stare at the cover art for hours on end. It’s what I’ll be doing.
Talk soon my friends!
