Hey hey! First off, I just wanted to take a minute to acknowledge that I’ve been a bit less active on here lately. Life has been wild, and not just the “too much coffee” kind of wild.
Between welcoming our newest little one (yep, that makes four little monsters now!), juggling school events, sports, and clubs, and running a new business (my real job) that’s really starting to take off (which is awesome but also… whew), it’s been a challenge finding a minute to breathe, let alone write. Trust me, I’ve missed it. But as you can imagine, diapers, deadlines, and soccer practices have taken over my calendar!
But rest assured, everything’s going great—just busy as all get-out! I’m still here, still kicking, and absolutely planning to get back to posting more actual insight soon. I appreciate all of you sticking with me through the chaos. Thanks for your patience and understanding as I try to find some semblance of balance in this beautiful mess.
Stay tuned, because there’s plenty more to come—once I figure out how to clone myself or invent a time machine. I’ve already contacted Kamino to see what we can do.

New Star Wars Comics and Books Coming Out Next Week
Star Wars: Darth Vader #50 – The final issue of Greg Pak’s Darth Vader run that started all the way back in 2020. Like Star Wars #50, this will be a big book at 64 pages. This has not been my favorite series but it’s likely going to show us Darth Vader’s final moments before the events of The Return of the Jedi so I’m excited to see where Greg takes it. I’m a big fan of the Derrick Chew variants.

Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures Phase III #10 by Daniel Jose Older and Harvey Tolibao – Lula and Zeen and the homies defend Eriadu City. The Uzuri cover B is one of the best High Republic covers of all time in my opinion.
UPDATED: Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku Release Dates and Variant Checklist
Star Wars: Thrawn – Alliances TPB by Timothy Zahn, Jody Houser, Andrea Di Vito, and Patrick Olliffe – I was very excited about this series when it was announced. Thrawn is my favorite Star Wars character. Zahn is my favorite Star Wars author. But MAN was it a disappointment. The story felt like it was told out of order and THEY DIDN”T COMPLETE THE STORY. The comics cover maybe 80% of the story and leave out the final battle and resolution. I have no idea what they were thinking with that decision. I was certain I would buy this, but I can’t support not telling the actual story.

Star Wars Comic Book FOC Deadlines
For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, the best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 9/16/24 this week.
