The series is centered around Jedi Knight Reath Silas and Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo research the Echo Stones that were originally introduced in Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures – Quest of the Jedi last year. That comic mentions an ancient Sith named Darth Ravi, but they’re not pictured.
That changes in Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures – Echoes of Fear #1 as Reath and Amadeo find a holocron by an ancient Jediexploer named Joria Skarl. In that holocron, Joria tells the story of Darth Ravi.
This will be the first comic appearance of both Joria Skarl and the ancient Sith Darth Ravi. Making this a key issue for first appearance collectors.
I won’t go into the story much (I’ve read it but not allowed to share details yet) but I will say that Darth Ravi is a bad ass and the story they’ve set up is fantastic.
As always, when I mention first appearances, key issues, or comic speculation, I am not advocating that you go out and load up on a certain book. Just sharing my honest thoughts. Your money is yours and you should only spend it on things you want.
