- Starting in October, Marvel will three separate four-issue mini-series that centers around the battle of Jakku, with each series — Insurgency Rising (1-4), Republic Under Siege (1-4) and Last Stand (1-4) — coming out almost weekly through the end of December. It starts Oct. 2.
- Marvel will launch a four-issue Star Wars: Ewoks mini-series Oct. 9 by Steve Orlando, Álvaro López & Laura Braga. It’s set after the events of the Return of the Jedi and promises not a caravan of courage but a caravan of carnage.
- The SDCC Lucasfilm panel is set for July 25 at 4:15-5:15 p.m. Pacific daylight time at SDCC. Guests include Justina Ireland, Tessa Gratton and Cavan Scott, so far, and it will be moderated by Patton Oswalt. Later that same day, per SDCC, from 5:45-6:45 p.m., there is a The High Republic authors signing event featuring Ireland, Scott, Gratton, Alyssa Wong, Zoraida Córdova.
- If you’re headed to SDCC this month, know now that Dark Horse Comics will feature Star Wars comics creators Cecil Castellucci, Cavan Scott, George Mann, Harvey Tolibao and Fico Ossio at its booth (#2615) on Friday, July 26 from 5-5:50 p.m. Pacific time for signings.
- The 2nd printings for Inquisitors #1 have been canceled.
