Let’s take a look at all Star Wars comics and books scheduled to be released next week on July 10th, 2024, as well as every Star Wars comic or book with a final order cutoff deadline this upcoming Monday, July 8th.
I’m a little hungover from yesterday (July 4th in the U.S.) so let’s just dive in why don’t we…
NEW: See Every Star Wars Book, Graphic Novel, and Omnibus Coming Out in 2024
Star Wars: Ahsoka #1 by Rodney Barnes and Steven Cummings – This is the first issue of an 8-part comic mini-series that adapts the Star Wars: Ahsoka Disney+ show to comics. Each issue will be one episode from the show. This means that issue #1 will include the first comic book appearance of both Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati.
From a character perspective, this is an important one but as we’ve seen with adaptations, first comic appearances of characters who show up in shows first have inconsistent value. If you are going to ‘speculate’ on future value I’d go with the more rare variants like the AKA 1:100 virgin variant or the Rahzzah exclusive that is limited to 800.
The 1:25 photo variant may not have as much standalone value but it may be sought after for signature collectors as it’s a great cover for autographs. This is similar to how the Rey photo variant for Star Wars: The Force Awakens got hot when Daisey Ridley started doing more signature events.

Star Wars The High Republic Adventures #7 Phase III by Daniel Jose Older and Harvey Tolibao – This comic will have the return of Zint in it! Zint is an Aoloxian (same species as Qort) youngling who first full comic appearance in Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures #13 from Phase III all the back in 2022.
It’s notable because both Zint and Qort are very much adored by High Republic fans and could mean that we get more first appearances from fellow younglings who could be a bigger deal in the future. That part is pure speculation though. I have no actual insight. I like cover A for this one because Zint is on it.

Star Wars Toys Coming In July 2024 – Entertainment Earth currently has 172 different Star Wars toys and collectibles listed with an ETA of July 2024. Tons of Star Wars action figures, Pops, LEGO sets, and statues coming out this month. For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, the best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 7/8/24 this week.
