Star Wars: Inquisitors is a 4-part comic mini-series by Lucasfilm Publishing and Marvel Comics that kicks off in July 2024.
We’ve gotten very little information since it was announced back in April 2024, but here’s what we know. This series will be written by Rodney Barnes (The Mandalorian, Ahsoka) and illustrated by Ramon Rosanas (Star Wars 2020) and the story will be about the Inquisitors hunting a new Jedi character named Tensu Run sometime after Order 66 and the fall of the Jedi Order.
Based on the cover art for issue #1 we know that the Grand Inquisitor, the 5th Brother, the 7th Sister, and the 9th Sister are in the hunting party. There may be more but that’s what we know prior to issue #1.
It will be interesting to see if Tensu Run survives this series. Because if they do then issue #1 could be a decent speculation book and key issue down the road. The publisher descriptions for issues #1 and #2 (below) of Star Wars: Inquisitors make Tensu seem like a big deal. Going as far as calling him a “Legend.”
