One of the things I wanted to create at the same time as redoing drunkwooky.com was a newsletter that would send notifications whenever new content is posted to the site. The old site had something like this but I couldn’t really edit it and it looked a bit dated.
So I created the Holonet Newsletter.
The Holonet Newsletter is an automated newsletter that sends a daily digest, every weekday, with all new posts published to drunkwooky.com about:
- Star Wars Comics
- Star Wars Books
- Star Wars Toys
- Star Wars Shows and Movies
- Star Wars Lore
- And general collector news
I’ll also be doing regular giveaways of comics, graphic novels, toys, prints, slabs, etc. for those on the newsletter list. So even if you don’t need the updates it’s a good idea to sub to the Holonet Newsletter.

The Plan for Drunkwooky.com Moving Forward
For quite some time now I’ve been wanting to expand this site. While it’s a hobby, not a job, I get a lot of personal joy from seeing the drunk wooky community growing and the views increasing over time.
I’m a simple wookiee. It’s fun when things are going well. But the biggest issue I run into is time. I have a day job, a family, and other stuff that I like doing. There’s only so much time I can spend putting posts together.
So in the coming weeks and months, I am going to be adding more contributors to the site.
In addition to continuing to post about new Star Wars comics, variants, exclusive editions, etc. myself, I’m hoping to:
- add someone to post regularly about new Star Wars toys and collectibles
- someone to post book reviews for every Star Wars book and novel
- someone to post reaction posts/videos about new Star Wars episodes
- someone to post deep dive Star Wars lore type posts
Stuff like that. Initially I’m just going to reach out to people who are already doing this on social media to see if they want to add their content to the site.
Expect an update on that in the coming month or so.
