Hey hey! Let’s take a look at all Star Wars comics and books scheduled to be released next week on May 14th and 15th as well as every Star Wars comic or book with a final order cutoff deadline this upcoming Monday, May 13th.
Lighter week than normal this week.
Star Wars: A New Hope Manga Coloring Book by Thunder Bay Press – The name pretty much explains it. It’s a coloring book in the Manga art style with scenes from A New Hope. Pretty cool if you or your little ones like to color.
NEW: Darth Ravi to Appear in Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures – Echoes of Fear #1
Star Wars: Mace Windu #4 by Marc Bernardin and Georges Jeanty – This is the final issue of the Mace Windu centered 4-part comic mini-series from Marvel. In it, Mace Windu and his unlikely ally, Azita Cruuz, will face off with the Dusk Weavers of the Had’le Path, a cult that is against using modern technology and wants to “cleanse” the galaxy of those who use technology to further their personal goals. We’ve already seen two members, Miya and Duro, but this issue will introduce their leader, The Shroud.
This has been a fun series but I’m not sure there’s enough time to produce a proper final act in one issue. But we shall see.
Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary HC Edition by Titan Comics – This is a reference book that talks about how ROTJ was made and includes a ton of behind the scenes photos and interviews. It was initially listed to be released last week but it’s now showing up in some places with a release date of May 14th. So either those sites are wrong or it was pushed back a week. Adding it just in case because I’m not 100% sure.

Star Wars Toys Coming In May 2024 – There have been a ton of leaks and announcements about Star Wars toys, statues, helmets, etc. over the last few weeks as Star Wars ramped up excitement for Star Wars Day. You can check them all out here on Entertainment Earth.

Star Wars Comic Book FOC Deadlines
For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, the best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 5/13/24 this week.
