Star Wars: Darth Vader – Black, White, and Red received significant hype when it was announced a few months ago. Not only did the creative team include the return of fan favorite author Jason Aaron to Star Wars comics it also included Peach Momoko’s first interior work for the franchise.
There will be 4 issues in this mini-series, with Star Wars: Darth Vader – Black, White and Red #2 due out next week on May 24, 2023.
A few weeks back it was announced that Darth Vader – Black, White, and Red would be getting a an oversized “Treasury Edition” trade paperback that is 13″x8.5″ instead of the standard comic size we typically see with paperback collected editions.
Illustrator Taurin Clarke will be credited with the cover art. Check it out.
In this months’ publisher catalog for Marvel comics the Star Wars: Darth Vader – Black, White, & Red Treasury Edition TPB which means this is the first chance to actually pre-order the book.
The book is still a ways off as it wont be released in January 4th, 2024. The reason I’m talking about it NOW is because FOC is in July. The MSRP for the book is $29.99 but you can get it from TFAW for just $21 if you pre-order before July 12th, 2023.
I’ve also added links to the Drunk Wooky Darth Vader Black, White, & Red variant checklist here.
That’s all for now.
Just a quick update.
