Star Wars: Bounty Hunters #34 by Ethan Sacks and Marvel Comics comes out tomorrow and we appear to be approaching the end of an era. Why do I think that? Well, the publisher descriptions for both this issue and Star Wars: Bounty Hunters #35 tell us exactly what to expect.

Bounty Hunters #34:

Bounty Hunters #35:
“A NEW ERA FOR THE BOUNTY HUNTERS! In the aftermath of the battle with INFERNO SQUAD, VALANCE and T’ONGA are joined by the most dangerous bounty hunters in the galaxy… KHEL TANNA! DEATHSTICK! DURGE! •…and BOBA FETT?!”
I want to clarify that I have NOT read the issue yet. This is speculation. That being said I expect at least one (probably more) of the main characters to die in this issue. My best guesses are Losha Tarkon and Tasu Leech. Mainly because they are not mentioned in the description for Bounty Hunters #34 and they’re not on any of the upcoming announced covers (unlike Zuckuss) for the run.

And it makes sense story-wise for someone to die. The Inferno Squad is made up of ELITE soldiers and assassins. If you repeatedly get in their way you’re going to die. It’s what they do.
Moving forward it looks like the cast will be Khal Tanna, Deathstick, Durge, Boba Fett, Zuckuss, Beilert Valance, and T’onga. Not sure if they will all be on the same team or not but they will be the core group.
I’m ready for this change. I’ve not seen much excitement for this series in a long time and considering how much Star Wars fans love their scoundrels and dirtbags, I’ve always felt that the series should be more popular.
