Bottleneck Gallery are celebrating May the Fourth by releasing a special printing of the Matt Ferguson Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary Theatrical poster!
There are four different versions of the post: (1) a full color English version, (2) a full color Japanese Version, (3) a black and white English Version; and (4) a black and white Japanese Version.
What’s so exciting is that the first two full color versions are “timed editions” meaning that they will print to deman for all orders between today and May 7, 2023! The black and white versions are their normal limited versions printed to an edition of 425 copies.
The prints go live today at Bottleneck Gallery at 12 PM eastern time! Full color timed prints are $65 each, $125 for the set. Limited black and white versions are $85 each!

Matt Ferguson discussed his new 40th Anniversary poster at Celebration last month!
“I’m so happy and grateful to get to work on these movies again, even more so to be given the freedom to continue what I started with Empire,” says Ferguson. “For that poster, a cold mechanical vibe completely takes over the whole composition. But Return of the Jedi is very much the triumph of Luke and the Rebels, so I wanted to have more of the warmer colors coming back into the art, hence pivoting to green with red accents.”
“The artwork should tell a story, so for me it only made sense to give over the composition to those two characters,” he continues. “Will Luke be turned? Is Vader going to overcome the darkness? It’s all about the pull between good and evil.”
