Praise the Void! Today StarWars.com published an early preview of Star Wars: The High Republic #3 that is set to hit stores in a few weeks on December 28th, 2022.
Star Wars The High Republic #2 ended with Vildar, Matty, and Tey on Jedha surrounded by the Guardians of the Whills brandishing their lightbows.
You may remember yher Guardians from Rogue One. Chirrut Îmwe, the blind guy, was a Guardian.
In this preview we see that they are not actually pointing them at the Jedi, but instead a former (and disgraced) Guardian, Tey Sirrek.
We also get the first appearance of Oklane Viss, a Faleen Captain in the Guardians of the Whills.
I’d imagine we’re going to get a ton of backstory on the Guardians and more detail on exactly what Tey Sirrek did to lose their trust in this issue.
