I come with fun news my wookiee brothers and sisters! Comic retailer, who is actually better known for selling other Disney products, Pink a la Mode is offering a retailer exclusive variant for The High Republic Adventures #1 from Dark Horse Comics featuring interior art by Toni Bruno on the cover.
This variant will be limited to just 1500 copies and sold exclusively on the Pink a la Mode website.

I actually heard about this variant a few weeks back but before I was able to share anything about it the retailer let me know there was an issue with the printing company and they were not going to be able to get it on time. At that time I thought the variant was dead in the water.
The good news though is that, while its a few weeks late, they were still able get this variant across the finish line.
This is significant because, up until now, it appeared that Dark Horse was not going to have any variants for this run. Only a cover A.
The pre-sale starts on Thursday, December 8th at 5pm PT on the Pink a la Mode site and will ship out sometime in January.

Star Wars High Republic Adventures #1 (2022) already had a ton of first appearances but this variant includes the first cover appearances of Alak, Cromont Vizzle, Quiet Shan, Therm Scissorpunch (lol) and our favorite cook/informant Dexter Jettster.
None of which are on the Cover A version of the comic. This comic is also their first full appearances as well as the bad guys of the series… the Dank Graks.
