Next week, November 9th, 2022 the 2nd issue of the Marvel Star Wars The High Republic Phase II comic run by Cavan Scott and Ario Anindito hits the shelves. And today, a week before that, StarWars.com published a 5 page preview of the issue.
A few things on this issue…
Did anyone really think Vildar Mac was dead after issue #1? He’s on the cover of pretty much every upcoming issue.
Looks like Vildar Mac’s force abilities include Psychometry. Where one can know where an object has been and details on anyone whose handled it (sometimes going back centuries) by simply touching the object. Cal Kestis also had/has this ability. That’s what Vildar Mac is doing with that arrow that Tey Sirrek used in issue #1.
Just like Star Wars The High Republic #1, I anticipate a whole slew of first appearance in this one. Especially since they are going to a bar that Tey Sirrek frequents to investigate. We’ll likely meet some of Tey’s friends (probably some foes) there.
