Another week another upcoming new comic book day. This Wednesday, October 12, 2022, three new Star Wars comics hit the shelves.
First up is Star Wars #28 and the continuation of Melton (Qi’ra’s nephew), Bev (his wife) and their children continue their escape from the Empire after fleeing the Death Star with secret intel. You can check out the preview here.
Next, is the first issue in the 2022 Marvel run of Star Wars: The High Republic. I got a copy of this issue early and by my count there are at least 12 first appearances in it. This is absolutely a key issue and also a super fun read. If you like spoilers… go here.
Lastly there’s Star Wars Visions #1 which is one of the most beautifully drawn Star Wars comics I have ever seen. It’s an instant classic in my mind. It’s also the First appearance of Ronin from Star Wars: Visions on Disney+. See the preview of the first few pages here.

Star Wars Comic Book FOC Deadlines
For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 10/19/22 this week.
