New Star Wars Comics and Books For September 26th

This week is a doozy with two different 2nd print variants, two new first print comics, and a pretty badass Star War: Visions Ronin statue hitting shelves. This includes the 2nd print of Star Wars #26 that has multiple first appearances in it. While I’m for sure getting that book I wouldn’t overpay or go too overboard until we know that the firsts will be significant.

The good news on that book is that Trinity Comics did a virgin exclusive variant of the 2nd print and it sold out in minutes. You can still get a copy on eBay but it’s not cheap. So there is still heat on that book but the jury is still out on how important the characters will be.

Aside from Star Wars #26 and the 2nd print of The Mandalorian #2 the other interesting comic with an FOC this week is Doctor Aphra #24 as we see Doctor Aphra with the Spark Eternal’s original host facing down a whole gang of red lightsabers on the Cover A by Rickie Yagawa.

Which has me wondering if we are going to see any new named Sith (from the past) in the book. Or are they just going to be unnamed Sith soldiers? Time will tell but from a “who-the-hell-knows-but-could-be-cool” speculation standpoint, I’m interested.

And lastly, Han Solo and Chewbacca #6 (of 10) is out next week and, while there have been no hints of key characters appearing, it doesn’t mean we won’t get new characters and the story has been pretty fun so far.

*Note* remember, only buy if you want the comics. I am not advocating you spend your money on what I spend my money on. Just telling you what I’m thinking. 🙂

So check out everything new coming up below and get your pre-orders in over at TFAW.

From Kotobukiya. Star Wars: Visions, an anthology of animated short films celebrates Star Wars through the lens of the world’s best anime creators and storytellers. The Duel, an animated short by studio Kamikaze Douga, captivates audiences with groundbreaking visuals and intense action.

Masterfully sculpted in 1/7-scale the Ronin stands in a stoic pose brandishing a lightsaber aglow with vibrant red from the imbedded Kyber Crystal.

Star Wars Comic Book FOC Deadlines

For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 9/26/22 this week.

Let’s dive in…
