Hey hey! It’s time to turn our attention forward and take a looksee at what new Star Wars comics we have on deck for next week as well as what books have their final order cutoff coming up next Monday.
On September 7th we get Star Wars #27 and the 2nd printing of Star Wars: The Mandalorian #1. From a speculation standpoint I don’t have much to go off of in regards to Star Wars #27. The previews that were released yesterday do not show any significant events or first appearances. That being said I’m digging the direction that Charles Soule is taking this and am legitimately excited to read next week’s issue.
As for the 2nd print of the Mandalorian #1 I’m not a huge fan of photo variants. But sine the book as firsts for Din Djarin, Grogu, Kuill, Greef Karga, IG-11, The Armorer, and Dr. Pershing… I’m still going to get it.
We’re also getting a brand new Star Wars Legends Epic Collection with Empire Vol 7.
In regards to Monday’s FOC deadline the only book with a cutoff is Star Wars The Mandalorian #4 which will include the first appearance of Cara Dune as well has Mando’s love interest from Episode 4, Omera.

Star Wars Comic Book FOC Deadlines
For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 9/05/22 this week.
