Hey hey everywookiee! It’s that time again to look at what’s coming up next week + what’s at stake for this week’s FOC deadline. On tap for August 10th is Han Solo and Chewbacca #5 and Star Wars Bounty Hunters #26 including a handful of key cover appearances.
Also out this week are a few books including Star Wars Legends Epic Collection The Clone Wars Volume 4 and the much anticipated 500+ page Star Wars Rebels Trade Paperback from Dark Horse Comics.

Han Solo and Chewbacca 5
It’s interesting to see pre-retired/un-retired T’onga in a comic. She has some series page time now as she’s been in comics since her first appearance in Star Wars Bounty Hunters #1.
The two variants are interesting to me as well. First of, the Sprouse Chooses Your Destiny cover is Keeve Trennis. One of the main characters of the High Republic and very popular character among fans.
Also, while Buck Vancto first appeared in Han Solo and Chewbacca #1, the 1:25 Variant of Han Solo and Chewbacca #5 by David Lopez is their first cover appearance.

A few interesting things about this issue. In regards to the story I really hope we see Qi’ra fight someone other than Darth Vader as the cover A suggests. I want to see cartoon Emilia Clarke bust some heads.
From a comic speculation standpoint the Sprouse Choose Your Own Destiny cover includes Reva aka The Third Sister’s first cover appearance. Considering she’s still alive and kickin’ in the live action universe it’s not a bad pickup in my opinion.

For those who aren’t familiar, FOC, or Final Order Cut Off, is when publishers and distributors require retailers to get their orders in. Printers then print according to that number (sometimes with overages). So, if you want to absolutely guarantee you get a book, best bet is to order it before FOC. Final Order Cut Off is Monday 8/8/22 this week.
