We still have a few months before Star Wars: The Mandalorian Issue #1 for the comic adaptation of the The Mandalorian season one from Disney+ hits the shelves and we already have our first variant.
It’s from Stephanie Hans so it’s no surprise that it’s cool as hell. I love how Grogu is featured but only peeking over Mando’s shoulder. Nice subtle way to give the the deserved focus on Din while still showing our favorite lil green boy in the galaxy.
This cover will be going on sale Wednesday, May 11 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern on 7ate9comics.com.
*UPDATE* Aaron Witten from the Star Wars Comic Books Facebook Group let me know that these covers will be sold in 4 other stores to serve the U.S. and Canadian markets. The Comic Mint, KRS Comics, and Eastside Comics in the U.S. and Mutant Beaver in Canada.
And there will only be 600 virgin covers available with 3000 trade dress variants. All virgins will come with a numbered COA.
