Fennec Shand First Comic Cover Appearance Will Be On Doctor Aphra 21 Sprouse Variant

Look at this BEAUTY. About an hour ago it was announced that the Sprouse Variant for Doctor Aphra 21 will include Master Assassin Fennec Shand and her boss/best friend dad bod Boba Fett in front of Jabba’s Boba’s throne.

This is one of the more iconic scenes from the Book of Boba Fett and a really fantastic piece of art.

Fennec Shand’s first comic mention was Bounty Hunters #8 (see ebay listings for Bounty Hunters 8) but this will be her first actual illustration. Considering how badass she is it’s about time. As you can see below, she has a reputation around the galaxy to uphold.

Fennec Shand’s First Full Appearance Will Be In The Mandalorian #5

With the Mandalorian comic adaptation coming this summer you can expect Fennec’s first full comic appearance to be in issue #5 as the books in the series will match the episode order of Mando season one.

If you don’t remember this is when Mando and young Bounty Hunter Toro Calican head off into the dune sea to try and take out Fennec to boost Toro’s standing in the guild. Eventually Toro shoots Fennec in the stomach (while she was handcuffed I might add) before heading off to “steal” Grogu.

Eventually Boba comes across Fennec nearly dead in the sand before taking her to get pimped out at the mod shop.
