UPDATE/CORRECTION: Future Sprouse Variant Covers Will Be Open Order, Not 1:25

The May 2022 Sprouse Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary variants are as follows:

• Bounty Hunters 23 (May 11)
• Star Wars 24 (May 18)
• Doctor Aphra 21 (May 25)
• Darth Vader #23 (May 25)

In February we reported Diamond showing future Sprouse Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary variants as 1:25 incentive variants. This would have greatly reduced the amount of these variants that would have been available on the market and inevitable sent the cost of them way up for collectors.

Well, whether the listings were initially a mistake by Diamond or Marvel walked back the decision, those variants are now listed as open order on both Diamond’s public-facing site and it’s retailer portal.
