The countdown to the Book of Boba Fett December 29 premiere on Disney+ is on! Even between Disney+ seasons and blockbuster film releases, we get new Star Wars just about every week in our local comic shop!
Here’s a look at the new Star Wars comic book releases hitting shelves at your local comic shop October 27, 2021! Brought to you by TFAW! Check out the official solicitations and previews for Star Wars comic books coming out this week below! Also check out which books are on Final Order Cut Off October 24, 2021 (Marvel) and October 25, 2021 (IDW) and get your orders in before last call!
Rumor is that Darth Vader #17 and IG-88 #1 have been delayed until November 3, 2021. So, the releases scheduled for next week may or may not be there October 27, 2021.
It looks like, instead, Star Wars #18 and Bounty Hunters #17 will be arriving next week (if this week’s previews are any indicator) rather than November 3. In turn, looks like Darth Vader #18 and IG-88#1 (originally solicited for next week) will shuffle with the November 3 releases and be released in two weeks.

Marvel have recently moved their final order cut off dates back to Sunday from Monday. This week’s is 10/24/2021. Seeing as many local comic shops and even some of the larger retailers very well might finalize orders on the Friday before rather than do it over the weekend, this functionally makes Marvel’s new FOC Friday 10/22/2021. IDW’s remains Monday 10/25/2021. Things just got more complicated for those keeping track of these things. Hooray!
Crimson Reign is kicking off with issue #1 and this weekend is final order cut off for that issue. There are a number of cool open order variants including a Crain, then some great incentives including the Lopez 1:25 Sabacc variant (part of a series for Crimson Reign), and the Cummings 1:50 variant. After the last page cameo of a whole slate of new characters in War of the Bounty Hunters #5, I would pay attention to Crimson Reign for first full appearances of those characters!
Luke continues his search for more Jedi knowledge in Star Wars #19 with a great 1:25 ratio variant from E.M Gist!
Tasu Leech, T’onga, and Losha make their first cover appearances (so far) on Cover A for Bounty Hunters #18.
Finally, Qort’s origin continues as he takes center stage and finally becomes unmasked in High Republic Adventures #10!
