We were looking at Previews solicits earlier this week and, based on erroneous solicit info that stated Charles Soule was writing the issue, we were speculating that a new High Republic Halloween story was coming. Well, the solicit has been updated to show Cavan Scott as writer, and we were WRONG! The Halloween Extravaganza issue is a reprint of High Republic #1 and is on Final Order Cut Off this weekend! FOC
Marvel have recently moved their final order cut off dates back to Sunday from Monday. This week’s is 9/19/2021. Seeing as many local comic shops and even some of the larger retailers very well might finalize orders on the Friday before rather than do it over the weekend, this functionally makes Marvel’s new FOC Friday 9/17/2021. IDW’s remains Monday 9/20/2021. Things just got more complicated for those keeping track of these things. Hooray!
Looks like we get to see some more of Deathstick in Doctor Aphra #15! Deathstick made her first cameo in Bounty Hunters #13, her first full appearance in Bounty Hunters #14, and her first cover appearance on Cover A of Bounty Hunters #14.
Plus, Doctor Aphra has a really awesome Sprouse cover with Mace Windu and Captain Rex!
