First Appearance Alert: Darth Krall to Appear in Marvel’s High Republic #7

Mike Mayhew, who has been pumping out exclusive store variants for his website for the High Republic, announced today that his next exclusive for High Republic #7 will feature a brand new villain, Darth Krall! Not only that, but according to his post, High Republic #7 will be the first issue to feature this new villain!

We’ve seen the Nihil in the High Republic up until now, but the Sith have been conspicuously absent! It looks like that’s about to end!

Darth Krall was originally a Jedi named Radaki who was part of the Lost Twenty who left the order after being seduced by the dark side. He is first mentioned in Cavan Scott’s Dooku: Jedi Lost.

Final Order Cut Off for High Republic #7 is coming up on Monday July 5, 2021. You can grab the Phil Noto Cover A or the yet-to-be-revealed John Tyler Christopher action figure variant over at TFAW! Now, unless the JTC action figure variant turns out to be Darth Krall, Mike Mayhew’s exclusive will be Krall’s first cover. It would be really cool if the action figure variant did turn out to be Krall and would also explain why it’s been under wraps all the way up until now.

UPDATE: Well, I was wrong and the JTC Variant does feature Keeve Trennis and not Darth Krall.
